Join the National Honor Society at Lee’s Summit West
Are you ready to take the next step in leadership, scholarship, and service? Applications are now open for students interested in joining the National Honor Society (NHS) at Lee’s Summit West.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a second-semester junior
- Have a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.5 after the first semester of the junior year grades are posted
- Have zero disciplinary actions from administration
- Commit to maintaining an unweighted GPA of 3.5 and a record free of disciplinary issues
- Commit to:
- Participating in one group service project and completing 8 hours of individual service per semester as a senior.
- Paying the $50 NHS dues to cover the graduation stole and t-shirt.
- Attending the NHS Induction Ceremony on Monday, April 21, 2025, at 7:00 p.m.

Your application, along with a resume and letter of recommendation, must be submitted by 2:30 PM on February 28, 2025. All documents should be submitted at the same time.
