Important Upcoming Dates:
Registration Help – Walk-in hours for technical assistance will be available at Lee’s Summit West High School in
Student Administration from 7:30am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday, beginning Friday, July 19th. Students
who wish to come to LSWHS to walk their schedules ahead of the first day may still do so during summer hours
from 7:30am to 3:00pm.
Student Schedules – Beginning Friday, August 9th, students will be able to view their class schedules online. The
registration process must be completed in order to view class schedules in PowerSchool.
Freshman Transition Day – The Titan Freshman Transition Day will occur on Monday, August 19 from 7:25am –
12:30pm. This program serves as the first day of school for all Lee’s Summit West High School freshman
students. Freshman Transition Day is designed to increase each freshman’s comfort level about coming to a
large high school and to assist them with becoming involved at Lee’s Summit West.
Back to School Night – Lee’s Summit West High School values parent involvement. We invite all parents to
attend our back-to-school night on August 19 from 6:00pm until 7:30pm. Additional information can be found
on the LSWHS website.
1st Day of School – Wednesday, August 21st – We can’t wait to see you Titans!
Important Information:
Parking – Only juniors and seniors can purchase a parking permit during registration. Parking permits will be
delivered in your student’s advisory class on the first day of school.
Student Policies and Procedures – A copy of the LSWHS student handbook can be found online at the LSWHS
website: lswhs.lsr7.org under the Students/Parents tab. This handbook includes policies, procedures, and
protocols that govern our daily operations with our students.
