Grades 9-11 Checkout

Check out for grades 9-11 will take place on May 20th and 21st in the Lee’s Summit West parking lot. Parents and students will receive an email with dates and times for checkout information and you can find that information below.

As you know, next week is the final week of our school year. Typically, at this time of year, teachers are collecting items from students that have been checked out during the school year. Because of our current circumstances, that process is not possible.
As a replacement for that process, we are going to conduct a drive through check in for students in grades 9-11 on May 20 and May 21. During that time, students will be able to return items such as books, calculators, choir robes, AFJROTC uniforms, etc. Below you will find a schedule for those two days broken up by the first letter of the student’s last name.
You and/or your student are welcome to come to LSW anytime during the specified time frame to check in items. We will check in all items on the west side of the building by our auxiliary gymnasiums. We will create a one way traffic pattern beginning at the main entrance to campus by the marquee and exiting campus at the south entrance by Summit Ridge Academy. We will provide additional information and a diagram of the process later this week.
On Saturday, May 16, your student will receive a list of items owed for each of his/her courses. This email will only go to your student’s lsr7 email address. If you have questions on an item, you should first contact the teacher of the course for further information. In addition to items owed for courses, you will also be able to turn in activity and athletic items (such as uniforms) and also return books that have been checked out from the library media center.
