In an effort to recognize student achievement at Lee’s Summit West High School, the Counseling Department is seeking your help. We would like to record all scholarships (academic, athletic, and activity-based) awarded to seniors by colleges, universities, or other organizations. The Class of 2018 will be awarded numerous scholarships. Many of those scholarships are from colleges or universities the student does not plan to attend. Please submit all scholarships your student has earned, including those that will not be used.
Our Academic Awards program is April 26, 2018. At that time we will recognize the academic scholarships that students have accepted that are $1,000 or more. Please understand that due to the time constraints of the Academic Achievement program certain guidelines will be used to showcase student achievement and applicable scholarships will be included in the awards ceremony.
Our Senior Athletic luncheon is on May 9, 2018. At the luncheon your son or daughter will be recognized for his/her athletic scholarship.
Please notify the Counseling Department of student scholarships by completing the form above or by sending an email. Return the form or send an email to Melissa Madden by Wednesday, April 11, 2018. She can be reached at 986-4003 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
